Not Yet For The iPhone

For one reason or another, I ended up at home during the announcement that the iPhone will be released in the UK next month.
I was relatively excited. I mean, I could imagine North Americans living without MMS, but that’d never happen over here in Europe. There’s was bound to be some kind of announcement on a software update to enable picture messaging… surely?
Nah.
Bugger.
I’ve already been embarrassed this week by not being able to make video calls on my phone. As nice as the iPhone is, I can’t take another step back and go without picture messaging.
And I was looking forward to it so much, too… *le sigh*.

Yeah, picture messages within the SMS application would be a good thing. It does allow you to e-mail pictures directly from the Photo Application, I suppose you could e-mail it to someone’s phone’s e-mail account, but that is far more steps than simple SMS picture messaging.
Anyway, I’ve got an iPhone and love it. I wish it had real iChat though.
Until later,
